Masai Future - Conservation Centre
RIBA International design competition - 2nd Place

The pavilions are accessed via green spaces that represent the four types of vegetation found in the Masai Reserve — grassland, riverine forest, acacia woodland, and scrublands. These green spaces serve not only as educational moments but also as drainage systems for rainwater from the pavilions and the rooftop viewing platforms. A rain chain system elegantly directs water into dedicated areas, making
rainfall a poetic part of the visitor experience.
