Masai Future - Conservation Centre

RIBA International  design competition - 2nd Place

The museum is organized into four independent pavilions, reminiscent of Masai homes, each with a distinct purpose: two exhibit spaces, a gift shop with restrooms, and a classroom with seating for 30. The circular flow guides visitors through the pavilions, ending at the gift shop, adjacent to the main exit. Each pavilion is designed with flexible spaces, allowing exhibitions to adjust to varying lighting needs through sliding timber doors and openable windows. Natural ventilation is encouraged through air slots positioned at higher levels of the walls.
